| Seafront Races - October to March.
This is a series of 6 races that takes place on Minehead Seafront on the first Wednesday during the months from October to March. Meet at 6.45 pm at the Carousel on the Seafront. It attracts runners from all over the area including a large number of youngsters.
Distances are designed to cater for a variety of age groups from 3/4 mile for the youngest to 3 miles for the adults.
Individual times and positions are recorded over the series with the best four to count to establish overall positions by the end of the series. The last race is followed by a prize giving ceremony which recognises all achievements particularly those of the young.
